Whether it's Afro-Latin or Afrobeat Soul, Ethiopian Jazz, Ju Ju, Highlife or Disco it all has a heavy groove and is all influenced by one continent. This is the first of a series of tributes to the mother land. All of these songs have one thing in common, Africa. They are all either about Africa or by African bands playing in an African style and they're all damn funky! I'm a big collector of heavy grooves and let me tell you, it doesn't get much better than the music coming out of Africa. It makes sense when you realize that Africa is where the funk comes from originally. It's where all music comes from and us too, so it's understandable that this is where you find the best music. So, just sit back and enjoy these grooves, dance, jump and sing. Do whatever the music makes you feel like doing! This is episode # 34 of The Splattermonkey Show, a tribute to Africa.

(Warning this mix contains some super heavy drum breaks and serious grooves!)

Here's the track list...

Artist - Song Title
